This year's Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Week was held from March 18 to 26, 2022 in Guélack

This program, precious to the SCL, makes plastic and reconstructive surgery available to poor populations or those who have difficulty accessing care. It is a program that reinforces the local health care offer for a week with volunteer specialists with a great experience in surgical practice.

For this 3rd edition, we saw between Monday and Tuesday 104 patients in consultation.

From Wednesday to Friday we operated on 45 of them and on Saturday we saw the patients again for their first bandage.

This was an opportunity to treat, among others:

• Disabling, dysesthetic scars: 2 nostril plasties, an upper limb flange
• Retractile scars: 2 releases + hand plasty
• harelip: 2 including one in an adult
• Lipomas
• Arthro-sinovial cysts
